It would be a shame for Sikhism to become a staid and ossified religion. I was at a dinner last night where the wife of a Punjabi friend of mine was telling me about her upbringing in Punjab. Her family are Hindu, and yet she spent more time at the gurdwara than at the mandir because of the fact that she was brought up in the heartlands of Punjab, and she has tried to encourage her children to do the same. However, Sikhism has become less tolerant of people having such fluid beliefs in recent times, and this is leading to a very insular way of being. Is there any way that the religion could be stopped from becoming conservative and moving away from its evidentally liberal roots? Starting with today's generation is the key and I think you would be surprised. A lot of young Sikhs I have come across are open minded with inquisitive minds due to being brought up in the UK. However it also depends on where you where brought up and personal experiences. I don't see Sikhism becoming so insular as you suggest, infact the opposite especially with the rise of Sikhism amongst non indians in America and further afield.

Just a suggestion but I think it would be a good idea to have a Bisexual section in the Sikh Personals category?

Thanks for the suggestion, Jalebi Girl. A new section for Bisexual Relationships has now been created.
