First of all welcome here.
Don't take it as an offense but i never understand why people think they are goodloking after they cut their hair and why being a Sardar means you are not goodlooking... I will also never understand why people are so concerned about what other people say about their looks so they can change or give up their whole identity just to try to fit into a society which may not be worth and which will never fully accept them anyway. I know it is a kind of survival strategy but does it make you happier being a bestseller good in meatmarket where human values are not important? Does it make you stronger or it simply turns you out of your skin?

For me, when I;m as Sadar my hair very long and messy and it not match with my face . when i cutted hair . my face and hair look match ... I think our origin has the good face stucture .. nice nose , nice eyes when they cutted it off it look more good

I have a different opinion on that. I prefer Punjabis with beard and long hair. When i see a clean shaven Sikh i always feel something is missing but i accept people's choices about their looks. Still i would not change my look to be more popular among guys. If they do not accept you as a Sardar it means they are more concerned about looks than personality which is not right i think. It may be a bit more difficult to find a boyfriend as a Sardar but if you find someone who can love you that way he may worth more to be with because it means he loves you the way you are not only the way he imagine his partner should look like.

Guru Fateh,
Here's my two cents.
In all this discussion we are only talking about appearance. Sehajdhari Sikhs have always been a part of the Sikh community. The parting of ways was started by the Brits. Narrow minded illiterate leadership and wayward preachers cemented it. I think I wrote about this earlier.
Well are we fixated on appearance or the Sikh spirit in a person. By the way clean shaven individuals Sikh or not have never appealed to me. But that does not mean that if a young boy cut his Kesh to get sex is a lousy person and may be that experience will teach him something. What about the straight Sikhs that turned clean shaven for jobs or other reasons, how and where those guys fit in in the scope of this discussion.
Mona or Gursikh has to be and must be only a matter personal preference, it is must not be a measure of a Sikh's integrity and strength of character. I have never had am pretty sure never will get that close to a person no hair and beard, because that is my preference and nothing else. Clean shaved face doe not turn me on and that's that.
Are we not doing the same thing we accuse the Monas or their friends for.
