There is a project that has been set up by a guy called Kenneth Tan for International Day Against Homophobia(IDAHO), and it involves the IDAHO video project. Please note the date for the deadline to submit a video: "The idea is simple: To challenge LGBT people from around the world to go to their local landmark or monument, smile in front of the camera and say, "Hi, my name is .... I'm from ... and I'm so proud to be gay / lesbian / bi /trans..." The project has gained lots of interest everywhere, and to show the wide diversity of the LGBT family, we wanted to have an out gay Sikh (hopefully turban-wearing) represented in our final video to be released May 17. I invite you to watch our video at gays.com/idaho . Your video submission needs to come to us before May 10. Ideally your video is shot outdoors, in the day, and at your local landmark wherever you may be. Your line will take just a few seconds to say, so feel free to send us.
