well what i tried to say lately was that whether ur bi, gay or str8 all matters is the love in a person irrespective of the sexuality..... and not just physical gratification... sorry i know in todays world all this dosnt matter and all matters is u sleep and move ahead in life but i would strictly be the old fashioned one and adhere to what i belive is true to my heart ... i know at certain point i have to use it as well which is inevitable but i would truely and deeply not belive in it .... well since the sikh clergy has declared gays as produce of dirty minds but i would say even though we adhere to sikh principles and live a gay life still salvation could be achieved ... becasue if ur not meant to give that love to the opposite gender then who can change that ... that donst mean the god has refrained u from loving at all??? at the end of the day love still exsist yet in a different form but that flow of love which i have mentioned in my previous note makes what life is all about. the true meaning and also true darshan of god Fateh

Well, i do not think it matters what the clergy say about gays. They are only people with their own imaginations and prejudices. Guru Granth Sahib Ji and Rehat Maryada doesnt't say anything like gays are products of dirty mind etc. There are plenty of people in Sikh community who does not believe in this nonsense because they follow the Guru's teachings.

i personally wold be the last person to no to give a tiny rats ass to what celrgy or people think and in our religion we dont have any clergy whislt no middelman between man and the God .. clerics are only the salaried people who are hired to conduct daily rituals and i agree with u there is no mention of anythingh against gays in our religion but the sort of life this community life is totally against the sikh norms. so even if the clerics taboo gays to be produce of dirty mind because they cannot maintain the sacred sanctity of marriage i would 'definitely' agree with them. but who is on fault like 90% of the gay community or the lot who thinks that gay psychology cannot fruitfully amalgamate with the sikh ideology???

The original post claimed that homosexual people do no understand bisexual behavior or bisexuals, which can sometimes manifest into bi/homosexuals showing irrational anger?
from a sikh prespective- what is a sin?
sikhs believe in 5 sins -
kham krodh moh loh ankar - desire anger greed attachment and ego
kham being desire or to lust after an object of a person- (not putting god first)
krodh to be angry when you can not get want you desire
moh to be greedy, to want everything for yourself
loh to be attachted and obsessed about an object or person- (completing forgetting god)
ego- to think your ways or experiances of life make you better than somone else
these are the 5 evils that all sikhs are told to avoid- the main way to get around these is to allways remember god, by medititaion on waheguru, which will help you to understand and analyse your own actions and thoughts
being different should not be a source of anger or negativity, being homosexual - bisexual or straight should not implant ego.
sikhs are not hippys, but are a productive and proactive society of people, everythink a sikh can and can not do is described in the rheat maradya - code and conduct of the sikhs,
judging each other is a show of ego, and a sin, as there is only 1 judge.
judging a persons character is a different subject, however all sikhs are commanded to regarad all humans as equals
any sikh stuck in the 5 evils is sining
