I am a 37 year old lesbian,my partner lives in India, we want to live together, how can i get her over to the UK?
Please give me ur suggestions as it is unbearable living so far apart from each other.

Hey, to bring her over to the UK is going to be very hard. To start off with you will need evidence to prove that you are a couple!! For example, letters, e-mails, pictures etc...only then can you apply for her to immigrate to the UK. Its a tracky situation as you both are not married...you could both just move to another country where homosexuals can have a civil union...e.g. Canada, Spain, Norway. There are numerous places you could possibly both emigrate. Jaz

You can apply for your partner to come over on a marriage/civil partnership visa. When she is here, you can have your civil partnership. Following that apply for her to stay in the UK as your Civil Partner.
