Sikhism is a very spiritual religion. The main aspects of Sikhism are the 5 theives/evils. These are:
Kaam: Lust
Krodh: Anger
Lobh: Greed
Moh: Attachment
Ahankaar: Ego
These are the five things that a Sikh MUST stay away from, if they are not even TRYING to stay away from them then they are not Sikh.
The definition of a Sikh is 'learn', so we are always learning. If you are not learning to follow the path of Sikhism or are not TRYING to follow the rules that have been stated in Guru Granth Saahib Jee then you are not a Sikh.
A Sikh does not believe in Lust, it is totally wrong. There is also no such thing as love in terms of 'girlfriend/boyfriend' or 'girlfriend/girlfriend' love or 'boyfriend/boyfriend' love. This love that we think we feel for others is not true love, the true love that we can only ever feel is that love between us and god. The rest of the love is FAKE, it is ALL FAKE.
MARRIAGE IS ONLY TO JOIN OUR SOULS SO THAT WE CAN HELPP EACH OTHER AND BECOME ONE SOUL, REPRESENTING THE BOND BETWEEN AND GOD.
Now, if you fancy somebody of the same sex as you then it is not your fault. It has been proven scientifically that being gay is in your genes so it has most likely been passed down to you from a parent.
However, just like a girl would fancy a boy or a boy would fancy a girl, in Sikhism they have to stop this lust or physical liking they have for each other as it is a distraction from god. This is the same for anybody who is gay. They have to stop their feelings for the other person.
I'm not sure about the whole getting married part but the rest of what i have said is 100% sikhism.
please forgive me if i have said anything that has offended anybody as it was not my intention to do so.
