Sarbat visits NYC, USA - Friday 1st & Saturday 2nd November 2013 Dear Sarbat Supporters and friends Sarbat is visiting New York City on the 1st and 2nd of November 2013 for our very first event in the USA. Please see the details below. Friday 1st November 2013 – 8 pm at Project Reach
39 Eldridge St, 4th Floor, New York City, New York 10002The event will start with an introduction about Sarbat and what we stand for. The introduction will be followed by a discussion involving you all about LGBT Sikh topics and issues faced by LGBT Sikhs in the US & UK. We aim to begin at 8 pm, everyone is welcome to arrive from 7.30 pm onwards. Saturday 2nd November 2013 - 11 am - At The High Line
New York City, New York 10011The High Line is a public park built on an historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. We will meet at the Gansevoor Street Stairs for the High Line at 11 am for a walk on New Yorks newest attraction. Have a look at the map here to get an idea of our meeting place. An American Brunch will be followed in the area upon finishing. Everyone is welcome but please rsvp so that we have an idea about the number of people attending.
