Dear All, I am a post graduate student from the University of Leeds undertaking a dissertation project titled ‘An Ethnographic Study of Queer Sikhs and their Interactions with Sikh Traditions’. I intend to use a focus group discussion and interviews with Queer Sikhs to find out how they navigate the coexistence of their Queer and Sikh identity. If you're Queer & Sikh I would like to speak to you about your experiences and the challenges you've faced whilst undertaking this inter-sectional navigation, negotiation, and amalgamation of identities. Interviews can be conducted in person, via phone-call or Skype. As far as timings are concerned I will work around your availability, but I'm aiming to begin as soon as possible. The focus group will be held in late July or the beginning of August in the UK. Please note that any information collected about you during the research will be anonymised. For more information about the project please email me on pr16sss@leeds.ac.uk I look forward to hearing from you. Best wishes Sukhbinder Sandhu
