It is funny! You have to be a male, Gay, South Asian and 16-25 years old to participate in the group. Seems like any other people can not support such a project with his/her presence... With discriminating others you are segregating yourself. Could you please explain why there are these strict restrictions?

The age restriction is due to funding constraints. The EHSAAS group receives its funding specifically to cater for the needs of South Asian Gay men between the ages of 16 and 25. Due to this limitation on the manner in which the funds can be utilised, the group must be run to support people from that specific age group and ethnicity group. It should further be noted that the UK has hundreds of various support groups for the LGBT community, ranging from faith-based groups and sports groups to those based on race and age. There are plenty of other groups in London and in the UK which provide services for South Asian gay women and South Asian gay men without age restrictions. There is also a specific counselling service for South Asian men and women are from the LGBT communities or who are questioning their sexuality. If you wish to find out more about such groups, please feel free to contact the Naz Project London, telling them that you received their details from Sarbat.Net. Their website is www.naz.org.uk

Judaism is a cultural/religious identity. Whilst there are Jews in South India, they have a separate culture from the native Asians there. Also there are many South Indian Christians, what about them? I know.. I complain too much
